Meet Terrill Unruh

Terrill founded Windy Ridge over 20 years ago with a straightforward idea: do a few things really well for the people around you. What started as a lawn care operation in the Wichita area has grown into something he's proud of — a business that takes care of both the land and the people on it.

Today, Windy Ridge focuses on what Terrill knows best: keeping Kansas lawns healthy through expert fertilizing and spraying, replacing lawns that need a fresh start, and seeding native grasses across pastures and acreages in the summer months.

Windy Ridge operates from Burrton, Kansas — right on Highway 50 in Harvey County. From here, we're 15 minutes from Hutchinson, 20 minutes from Newton, and within easy reach of Wichita and communities across Sedgwick, Reno, McPherson, and Marion counties. Our central location means we can serve a wide area without the overhead of a franchise or large office. That savings goes right back into better products and more attention for your lawn.
